President's Welcome
Welcome to the official website of Phi Delta Epsilon, the first premedical fraternity at the University of Michigan!
Coming into college, I was lost on how to navigate my pre-med path. I had no idea what courses to take, what activities to pursue, and worried about the long and strenuous journey ahead of me. However, this all changed once I got into PhiDE. Through professional events such as doctor dinner, medical student brunch, suture clinics, and diversity workshops, I was able to gain valuable knowledge and personalized insights toward medicine that I did not previously have. I now have a much better grasp of what is expected of me as a premedical student. Not only that, PhiDE has also given me a community that continuously supports and uplifts each other. Social events such as ice skating, barn dancing, spontaneous study sessions, and ski trips have allowed me to make lasting friendships and memories. Each day, I am reminded that I am fortunate to have such a diverse group of people I can rely on and learn from as we go through our premed years.
